ApplicationsMetal brushes are used in industry to eliminate burrs and rust, scale and slag, corrosion, paint, for cleaning brazing joints, finishing tube ends, sanding, polishing and satin finishing.
Soft plastic brushes are employed in washing, sweeping, dust-proofing or as a carrying surface. They can also be used to guide products on conveyance devices, carry fragile objects or allow them to slide, and ensure even tensioning of sheets or web.
Circular brushes used in mechanical processes have steel, stainless steel, brass or hard synthetic bristles, which can be twisted or straight. The characteristics of the workpiece and the desired effect determine brush type and rotational speed. Brushes are specialized for use on edges, exterior or interior surfaces.
