Description
PTFE films and sheets are based on skived tapes, with sintered PTFE.
They offer high resistance, low friction and one of the highest chemical resistance available.
Standard or premium quality are available.
Films can also be provided with coumpounds: glass fiber, graphite, carbon or bronze compounds are the standard. Other compounds are available on request.
PTFE is non adhesive. It can be prepared with etching, a surface treatment on one or both sides to allow bonding to other surfaces.
3P uses the sodium ammonia etching process, which is the most effective and long-lasting way of etching PTFE.
Skived tapes are provided as ready to bond etched tape or as adhesive tapes.
