PTFE rods can be directly machined to beneft from their high chemical resistance, low-friction or high temperature range for example. 3P offers different grades ot PTFE rods, depending on the raw material purity, but also on the mechanical constraints. PTFE rods can be produced by axial molding, isostatic molding or ram extrusion, thus changing deeply the mechanical strengths of the materials, as well as the dimension range.
