ACOWA’s TurTle stands out as a revolutionary pressure transmitter, often referred to as a level sensor. Notably, it is recognized by its robust design – developed specifically for the wastewater industry.
A key advantages of the TurTle, is its unique measurement cell that can be separated from the sensor housing which is constructed in AISI304 stainless steel. In other words, the measurement cell can be replaced without actually having to replace the entire electrical installation. This also applies in the case of a damaged cable, where the measurement cell can be reused in another sensor housing.
Adjustable range of measurement with TurTle
Another of TurTle’s remarkable features lies in its measurement range which is adjustable when using a DIP switch – located at the rear of the measurement cell. TurTle can measure in 3 ranges, 0-3m, 0-5m or 0-10m, all with 4-20mA output signal. Notably, the measurement cell can be zero-calibrated using the DIP switch.
Besides its measurement features, TurTle includes a PUR-cable which has the following standard lengths:10m, 15m, 30m or 50m.
Transmitter
Above all, the TurTle uses a ceramic capacitive measurement cell with long durability, stability and great precision. The sensor’s capillary tube is equipped with a filter that prevents absorption of moisture. It has a total weight of 1.3 kg, which makes it incredibly stable in conditions with turbulent water.
