Overview

Extrusion lines for foil and sheet (mono- & multi-layer) designed for packaging, thermoforming and industrial applications. Offer high transparency for packaging films and processability for building, furniture and thermoforming sheets.

Product family

The PLASTICSHEET extrusion family processes foil & sheet in mono and multi-layer configurations using T-dies and co-extrusion feedblocks with manual or automatic adjustment. Processable materials include: PP, EPP (Expanded PP), HDPE, PET, CPET, PETG, PC, PA, EVOH, SURLYN, PS, EPS (Expanded PS), ABS, K.RESYN, STYRLUX, PMMA, PVC and PLA.

Thickness ranges and technologies

The combination of Cast and Roll-stack technologies enables foil production from 80 µm up to 2000 µm on the same plant. Sheet extrusion reaches up to 30 mm thickness in mono and multi-layer configurations.

COMPACT series

The COMPACT series is a family of extrusion lines engineered for thermoforming sheet production. It is suitable for in-line operation (extrusion line + thermoforming machine) or off-line stand-alone use, meeting thermoforming-oriented factory layouts.

COMPACT exp series (EPP/EPS)

The COMPACT exp series, developed in cooperation with Reedy Chemical Foam, is dedicated to EPP/EPS sheet production by dosing standard PP/PS with Chemical Blowing Agents (CBA). The system ensures homogeneous foaming across the full sheet width.

Characteristics of Expanded PP (EPP) and Expanded PS (EPS) sheets

• Low thermal conductivity (relevant for food packaging)
• Easy sealing

• Environmentally friendly process: no release of dangerous gases during transformation
• EPP/EPS sheets and thermoformed parts are up to 40% lighter than rigid PP/PS, improving environmental footprint
• Approximately 10% cost advantage vs rigid PP/PS and faster thermoforming speeds, improving end-product economics

Applications

Suitable for packaging (cups, lids, trays, yoghurt cups, ice-cream containers, thermoformed pallets), building and furniture components, housewares, sanitary items and other thermoforming applications.
