OverviewThe IEC 61215 MQT 10 UV Preconditioning Chamber is a walk-in temperature and humidity room designed for accelerated aging and UV+DH testing of PV modules and other large assemblies. Internal dimensions, temperature grades and humidity ranges are customizable to accommodate full-product tests without disassembly.
UV+DH test & materials considerationsMaterial selection—notably EVA composition and backsheet properties—affects the formation of snail trails and microcracks. UV+DH conditions accelerate moisture-driven defects and can reduce test time versus standard damp-heat cycles. Laser-cut edge conditions and controlled sample designs improve reproducibility for R&D evaluation.
