Product overview
HAST (Highly Accelerated Stress Test) chamber designed to evaluate electronic components and semiconductor packages under combined pressure, temperature and humidity conditions (typically 70%–100% RH, saturated steam). The chamber simulates harsh environments to assess moisture resistance, delamination risk, metallization corrosion and electrical failures in PCBs, FPCs and semiconductor packages.

Complies with JESD22-A110 standard.

Combined test types

• Saturated HAST: typically at 121°C with 100% RH (saturated steam).
• Unsaturated HAST: typically at 110°C / 120°C / 130°C with humidity around 70%–85% RH.

Safety features

• Inner-box interlock: prevents start if the inner box is not properly closed.
• Safety valve: automatic pressure relief when internal pressure exceeds safe value.
• Double overheat protection: alarm and automatic cut-off of heating power if inner-box temperature is excessive.
• Cover protection: inner-box cover in aluminium alloy to protect operators from scalding.
