Description

DESCRIPTION
ARCAL™ Chrome, argon 2% CO₂ cylinder for welding: a shielding gas formulated for MAG welding of stainless steels. The mixture of argon with 2% CO₂ is designed to preserve corrosion resistance of stainless steels and to produce an attractive weld bead appearance. ARCAL™ Chrome has low levels of water and nitrogen impurities to reduce welding defects and minimise finishing operations. Suitable for manual, semi-automatic, automatic or robotic welding.

  • Welding stainless steels in all positions and for general applications
  • MAG brazing with CuSi and CuAl filler wires

SMARTOP™
ARCAL™ Chrome argon 2% CO₂ cylinders can be fitted with the SMARTOP™ head: facilitates regulator connection, features an on/off lever and a pressure gauge for simplified handling and improved safety.

EXELTOP™
Optionally, cylinders can be equipped with an EXELTOP™ head integrating a regulator (double stage) for precise and stable flow, on/off lever and Quick Connect fitting for ready-to-use operation.
