PresentationARCAL™ M14 is a MAG welding gas developed for welding thin steel sheets. Ternary blend: 3% CO2 + 1% O2 in Argon. Product compliant with EN ISO 14175-M14-ArCO-3/1 (welding application).
Applications- MAG welding of carbon steels
- MAG welding of stainless steels
- Welding of electro-galvanized steels
Detailed descriptionARCAL™ M14 is formulated for high performance on thin plates (up to 5 mm). It simplifies welding parameter settings and ensures stable metal transfer, significantly reducing spatter and post-weld finishing work.
Simplicity- Easy-to-use gas suitable for multiple processes
- Facilitates electrical parameter setup
- Standard SMARTOP™ valve on cylinders; optional EXELTOP™ (integrated regulator valve)
Performance- Good wetting for well-formed beads with low silicate content
- Suitable for pulsed and spray-arc modes across a wide operating range
- Balanced welding speeds with low fume and spatter emissions and low oxidizing effect
- Suitable for manual and automated welding; capable of producing radiographic-quality welds
Reliability- Precise blend (3% CO2 / 1% O2 in Argon) for productivity, wetting and arc stability while controlling oxidation, spatter and fumes
- Very low impurity levels (H2O and N2)
Ease of use & packaging- Available in multiple packagings: cylinders and large-volume frames
- Standard and optional equipment for simplified handling (SMARTOP™, EXELTOP™)
