The PinchFLO™ Reactor is an advanced category of continuous tubular reactors, manufactured by Amar, to deliver exceptional performance for gas–liquid, liquid–liquid, and multiphase reactions. This reactor uses a patented pinched-tube geometry that induces controlled turbulence and passive mixing through the kinetic energy of the flowing stream—eliminating the need for mechanical agitation. It is ideal for exothermic and high-mass-transfer reactions such as nitration, diazotization, ozonolysis, Grignard synthesis, and other flow-based chemistries. Unlike conventional stirred or plug-flow reactors, the PinchFLO™ Reactor integrates efficient mixing and heat management within its tubular design, ensuring uniform reaction profiles, faster kinetics, and scalable hydrodynamics from lab-scale (50 mL) to pilot and production scales (up to 1,000 L). With flow capacities up to 10,000 L/h, pressure ratings up to 100 bar, and temperature capability up to 300°C, the system is built for versatility, durability, and industrial reliability.
