Our model 88 family of pressure sensors has both explosion-proof and intrinsic safety ratings for measuring gas, vapor, or liquid pressure in hazardous locations. These units are field adjustable with a full 5:1 zero and span turndown. The cover for the turndown is retained by a stainless steel chain to eliminate the risk of dropping or misplacing, and there are no internal jumpers. It is available in pressure ranges up to 5000 psi with an all 316 SST welded body and diaphragm. Output is 4-20 mA with a 12 to 40 VDC power supply. The Model 88 pressure transmitter also meets NACE standards for offshore applications. Accuracy for the Model 88 is ± 0.25% of calibrated span including linearity, hysteresis and repeatability. The standard version is our Model 88C has a ½” NPT process connection with a 1” hex. For high pressures of 1000 psi and over the hex is a 1.25”. The Model 88F has a flushmount process connection to prevent process media particulates from collecting on the diaphragm. The 88F has all 316 SST construction except for the diaphragm which is Hastelloy C for tough environments and corrosive medial conditions.
