Cadmill Screens are perforated screens designed for comminuting mills (horizontal hammer mills) used for milling, sizing and de-lumping. Screen performance depends on product characteristics, hammer and machine design, operating conditions and, critically, the sieve perforation parameters (aperture size, shape, pitch and thickness). Perforated screens are supplied to match machine size and process requirements, with perforation sizes from 0.1 mm (100 µm) up to 25 mm; standard references include up to 20 mm (2000 µm). Very small or non-standard perforations below 0.5 mm are produced by laser perforation using S.L.E. Technology with certification.
