Multimills are cylindrical hammer mills designed for milling, sizing and de-lumping of powders and granulates in industrial processes. Milling performance depends on the product's physical and chemical characteristics, machine and hammer design, environmental conditions and sieve parameters such as aperture size, shape, pitch and thickness. Models are available in several sizes including a lab-scale variant. A common example size is 263 mm inner diameter x 140 mm height. Perforation hole diameters range from 0.1 mm to 25.0 mm; holes below 0.5 mm can be produced using laser perforation technology. Units can be supplied in multiple arrangements to match process requirements.
