Description

Summary
Alcohol Resistant Synthetic Fluorine Free Foam (AR-SFFF) concentrates are non-fluorinated foam formulations engineered for suppression of Class B flammable liquid fires. They deliver fire and vapor suppression on both hydrocarbon and polar solvent fuel fires and can be proportioned and discharged using a wide range of conventional foam equipment in fixed systems and response applications.

Features
  • Suitable for Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires (oil, petroleum, gasoline, benzene, aviation fuels).
  • Produces a robust foam blanket with extended drain times to limit oxygen access and suppress fuel vapors.
  • Foam solution water content provides a cooling effect that aids fire suppression.
  • Effective on Class B polar solvent fires (alcohols, ketones).
  • On polar solvent fires, liquid drains from the foam to form a polymeric membrane that protects the foam, suppresses vapors and seals the fuel surface.

Benefits
  • Reliable — Formulation and quality control ensure consistent performance for fire and vapor suppression.
