Overview
The Apollo Heavy Duty Spiral Conveyor is a modular vertical conveying solution engineered for higher elevation changes and increased load capacity. It doubles the capacity of standard spiral conveyors to meet industrial throughput and heavy-load handling requirements.

How it works
Based on proven Apollo spiral technology, the system uses a single motor and a slat-style belt running on a guided track. It enables vertical transport of diverse products while minimizing floor footprint compared with inclined conveyors, and supports continuous, 24/7 operation.

Characteristics (design & operation)
The spiral runs from a single motor, reducing maintenance and energy use while offering long service life. The slat-style belt runs without side wear strips, providing rolling friction only and enabling clean transport. The spiral can start and stop fully loaded. Total instantaneous weight capacity is 1,450 kg. For very tall installations, the conveyor is delivered in modular segments for on-site assembly.

Types and Models
Four standard Heavy Duty models are available and can be customized to fit site layout. Infeed and outfeed points can be positioned at various angles and extended as needed. Spirals can transport goods up or down and are optionally reversible. Multiple belt/slat widths and spiral diameters are offered. Side guards and base frames can be RAL powder-coated or stainless steel.
