Description

Autoclave for repairing composite materials under temperature, pressure and vacuum conditions. The fact of being able to repair the pieces under external pressure conditions allows to improve the final result of the curing compared to a repair outside the autoclave. Standard design of 1 meter in diameter and 2 meters in length for 2 repair zones with one blanket per zone. The design can be adapted depending on the number of zones that are necessary. Each zone has up to 12 temperature thermocouples for correct control of the curing temperature. The values of vacuum, pressure and temperature of the blankets are controlled by the PLC and are monitored on the screen of the electrical panel where all the values are also graphed in real time in order to obtain a final report of the process. The autoclave can be designed with fixed legs or with wheels to be able to move it easily and it has a platform that is extracted on an auxiliary trolley to be able to work with the blankets directly on the platform and connect the temperature and vacuum terminals.
