MM-M-500 & MB-M-500 Series Male Rod Ends, General Aviation - Precision - Body - Low carbon steel protective coated for corrosion resistance. No. 16 standard series body is alloy steel not heat treated. - Ball - Alloy steel, heat treated, hard chrome plated (AMS-QQ-C-320, Class2). - Race - Low carbon steel, protective coated for corrosion resistance. - Units are traceable and are magnetic particle inspected after assembly. - Grease Fitting available for sizes -3 and up. Units are supplied without grease fittings. When a grease fitting is required, specify by adding suffix "Z" or "F". Ex.: MM-6MZ-500 = Zerk Type Fitting MM-6MF-500 = Flush Type Fitting. - Load ratings apply only to rod ends without grease fittings. For load ratings with fittings, please consult our engineering department. - Sizes 6 through 12 rod ends are supplied with drilled hole up the shank. To specify solid shank add suffix "Y", Ex: MM - 6YM-500. - Ptfe Liners available upon request. Specify by adding suffix "T". Ex.: MM-8TM-500. - For Rod End Bearings that are non-traceable or non-magnetic particle inspected consult factory.
