Overview
The AMX-170 closed orbital weld head is engineered for automated, repeatable orbital welding of large-diameter tubes. It supports fusion welding without filler metal and is compatible with multiple industry-standard orbital welding power sources for easy integration into existing production lines.

Key use & materials
Designed for fusion orbital welding of thin-wall stainless steel tubing (38–170 mm O.D.). Suitable for oxidation-sensitive nickel and titanium alloys. Typical applications include pharmaceutical, chemical processing, food & beverage, semiconductor, aerospace and other industrial sectors requiring high piping integrity and weld quality.
