Description
RUX is a CNC cylindrical grinding machine. The machine is designed with grinding wheel moves on base by recirculating ball systems. The workpiece is clamped by headstock fixed on the base and tailstock moving on table support. This machine configuration permits to reduce the overall machine dimensions compared to moving table configuration. Base is in composite material specifically designed to obtain the best result between structural deformations and vibration dumping.
The machine is equipped with CNC control system with these features:
Plunge grinding, with integrated face machining capability
Traverse grinding
Dressing program (face-radius-chamfer-taper)
Correction of the workpiece taper in the traverse cycle
Integrated remote assistance module
