B_22892 test bench is designed to test hydraulic performance of LIN and PWM vehicle water pumps. Pumps are fed with glycol water mix, at different temperature to simulate working conditions. It’s possible to run the pump at different speed or with a speed profile and regulate pressure on delivery side with a control valve. Flow, pressure, temperature, power and speed are recorded. The test bench is built for: • Test vane with water control temperature • Control console with electrical cabinet By HMI touch panel it’s possible to control: • Flow, water pressure and temperature • Test time and test steps profile • Pressure: 2 bar (max) • Flow: 400 ± 2 lpm (max) • Temperature: 90 ± 2 °C (max) INSTRUMENTATION: • Flow meters: 0 ÷ 200 lpm; 0,2% accuracy • Pressure transmitters: 0 ÷ 2 bar, 1,7x10-4 % accuracy • Temperature transmitters: 0 ÷ 120 °C, cl. AAA SAFETY DEVICES: • Open doors interlock • Test area with metal lids against shots • Emergency mushroom button • Test shutdown if component fails, oil leakage or test bench warning
