Description

Overview
The LINETRAXX® RCMS460-L is a residual current monitor for detecting and evaluating fault, residual and operating currents in earthed power supplies via associated measuring current transformers. Each device provides 12 measuring channels and can be networked via a BMS bus (RS-485) with up to 90 devices, enabling monitoring of up to 1080 measuring channels. CTUB100 or CTBS25 closed CTs are required for AC/DC sensitive (Type B) measurement; CTAC, WR, WS and WF series are used for AC and pulsating currents (Type A). The maximum monitored voltage depends on the insulation rating of the selected CTs. Frequency response and response ranges can be configured for personnel, fire or plant protection; measured currents can be analysed for harmonics, DC and THD.

Notes
CTBS25 or CTUB100 series are required for AC/DC sensitive (Type B) measurement. WF series flexible CTs include an RCC420 signal converter. Some power supplies are not compatible with certain CT variants; consult product documentation.
