Insulation fault locator ISOSCAN® EDS151

Overview
The ISOSCAN® EDS151 is an insulation fault locator for automatic feeder-by-feeder fault finding in unearthed (IT) power systems when used with ISOMETER® isoMED427P. It detects locating current pulses via six integrated measuring current transformers and evaluates faults for rapid alarm and display.

Notes
The locating pulses generated by ISOMETER® isoMED427P are detected by the integrated CTs and evaluated by the EDS151. Integrated CTs allow all active conductors of an outgoing line to be routed through a single device. Bus coupling enables scalable monitoring of multiple circuits.
