Overview
The CTUB100 series are measuring current transformers composed of CTBC… cores and CTUB10… electronic modules. They convert AC and DC currents into an evaluable measurement signal and are connectable to compatible evaluators. Connection to the evaluator is via a 2‑ or 6‑core cable. Units are suitable for DC, AC and 3(N)AC systems.

Features

• Combined test and reset button
• Multicolour LED for operation, fault and status messages
• Exchangeable electronic module without mechanical separation of the primary conductors
• Option to extend/retrofit or modify functionality if monitoring requirements change
• Full magnetic shield versions (P) reduce sensitivity to load and inrush currents (CTBC20P…210P)
• Monitoring of the connection to the measuring current transformer
• Supply voltage: DC ±12 V (CTUB101 variants) or DC 24 V (CTUB102 / CTUB105 variants)

Intended evaluators / system use

• CTUB101 variants: for RCMA420 / RCMA423 (supplied DC ±12 V from evaluator via 6‑core cable)
• CTUB102 / CTUB105 variants: for RCMS410 / RCMS425 / RCMS460 / RCMS490 and EDS441LAB (require DC 24 V supply for CTUB102/CTUB105)
• Suitable for DC, AC and 3(N)AC systems
• Connection via 2‑core or 6‑core cable depending on type
