Overview
The CTAC series measuring current transformers convert AC and locating currents into evaluable measurement signals for residual current monitors, residual current monitoring systems and insulation-fault locators (RCM / RCMS / EDS). They are highly sensitive and connect to the respective devices via a two‑wire cable. The CTAC series measures locating currents generated by PGH locating current injectors or an ISOMETER® iso685.

• Designed for use with RCMS460/490, RCM420 and EDS series insulation-fault locators
• Available in several inner diameters: 20 mm, 35 mm, 60 mm, 120 mm, 210 mm
• Mounting options: mounting brackets or DIN-rail; snap-on mounting available for specific types

• Signal conversion for residual current monitoring and evaluation
• Integration in insulation-fault location systems for IT networks (measurement of locating currents)
• Connection to RCM / RCMS monitoring equipment and EDS insulation-fault locators
