Bulk flow measurement for precise mass flow determination of solid matter The bulk flow measurement system LB 472 is used for the precise determination of flowrate in the bulk solid industry and can be perfor­med on all kinds of conveyors. The noncontact nonintrusive radiometric measurement is characterized by excellent accuracy and reliability. The DuoSeries transmitter LB 472 is very robust with no moving parts, and no required maintenance. The LB 472 can be installed directly around bunkers, chutes, or conveying systems. The DuoSeries LB 472 provides the current flowrate and the total produced mass. Both the new LB472 transmitter and LB4700 detectors are backwards compatible with the former LB442 system. Valuable dia­gnostic functions and self-monitoring ensure increased reliability and availability of the measurement. Users also benefit from new ser­vice features (e.g. data log), which can be accessed remotely, via ethernet or USB interface. The menus are available in all common languages.
