Description

The Back Pressure Regulator (BPR) series has a normally closed valve and is commonly placed at the end of the fluid line. It functions similar to a relief valve. The regulator automatically opens when pressures upstream reaches the adjustable set pressure that allows excess pressure to vent.

Whenever the pressure drops below the predefined pressure, regulator will close again. The BPR can handle maximum inlet pressure of 500 psi. The cracking pressure range from 0 to 450 psi. Piston style contain coil springs and are well applicable for applications that requires higher outlet pressure.

The approximate weight is 72g which is in either brass or stainless steel, and 33g in aluminum. Weight varies depending on configuration. There are 8 different porting configurations. All regulators use 10-32 ports except porting type 2.
