This compact cooling system combines liquid cooling with air cooling. While the pump conveys the operating medium from the tank through the component to be cooled to the heat exchanger, the axial fan provides the necessary air flow through the heat exchanger to cool the operating medium again. This is a closed cooling circuit, which saves fluid and, in the event that the fluid has become contaminated, does not spread the contamination. If desired, the cooling circuit can be opened. The lightweight and robust design makes the BRAUN cooling unit suitable for many applications, such as liquid-cooled drives, gear cooling, inverter cooling or tool cooling.
