Coal-fired cascade type boiler
The BROX coal combustion system, designed by combining new advanced combustion and combustion control technologies, is available for boilers with a capacity of 1500kg/h –5000kg/h and producing steam between 2-16 bar pressure. This combustion system provides very low emission and waste output rate in factories, greenhouses, building heating and other similar applications.
The system provides the most efficient combustion process in washed lignite coal in the size of rice, hazelnut, walnut, which has a lower heating value of 4000 – 5000 kCal/kg. Manual and automatic discharge can be applied in the ash discharge system.
The boiler design is 3 pass with water pipe. Since all heat transfer surfaces are designed as wet-back, the efficiency is higher than conventional solid fuel boilers. The system can be adapted to wood, coal and waste fuels, as well as efficiently burning natural gas, liquid fuel and waste oil. This improved design is suitable for commercial and industrial process steam uses.
The water-tube design reduces the water volume in the boiler and enables faster steam production and a shorter response time at peak drafts. Cascade application reduces the cost of steam produced with high efficiency at low capacities. Unnecessary fuel consumption and steam production are prevented by ensuring that a sufficient number of boilers operate according to the amount of steam used during the day in industrial facilities.
