Overview
Büchi glass Nutsche filters for pilot plants, kilo-labs and scale-up laboratories. Mobile and stationary systems with vessel volumes from 10 to 300 L designed for solid–liquid separation, filtration, drying and downstream purification in corrosive environments and under inert atmosphere.

About the Nutsche filter
Büchi Nutsche filters enable controlled solid/liquid separation under vacuum or slight positive pressure and can be integrated with reactors for downstream separation after synthesis. The slurry is charged into the filter; solids are retained by the filter cloth forming a cake while the filtrate exits via the bottom outlet valve. Filtration time can be reduced by mechanically compressing or smoothing the cake using the height-adjustable stirrer. Cake discharge is performed from the top after opening the cover and lowering the glass vessel with the lifting device; the same device provides access to the filter cloth for cleaning or replacement. Inert-material options and sealed/containment variants allow processing under inert atmosphere and compatibility with a wide range of solvents and acids. Clean-room and high-containment designs are available for demanding regulatory or process requirements.
