OverviewchemReactor CR is a pilot glass-lined reactor system for chemical process development, API synthesis, small-scale production and pilot-plant operation. The design combines a jacketed glass-lined steel lower vessel for thermal stability with a glass upper section for visual process control. The system is suitable for inert-atmosphere work, compatible with a wide range of solvents and acids and can operate under full vacuum; cryogenic execution to −90 °C is available as an option.
Key dataReactor volumes: 15, 30, 60, 100, 160, 250 L
Pressure rating: full vacuum (−1.0 bar FV) to +0.5 bar
Temperature range: −60 °C (down to −90 °C with cryogenic option) to +200 °C
Materials (wetted): borosilicate glass 3.3, glass-lined steel; optional PTFE, PFA, tantalum
Typical applications- Chemical synthesis and process development
