Fibre optic dielectric armoured cable – REPSOL satandards Loose tube single mode or multimode optical fibre cables with central dielectric strength element. The core is protected by an armour of round dielectric fibre glass elements and a LSZH sheath. These cables can be used in petro-chemical industries. Optical fibre ROHS compliant STANDARDS Cable construction: IEC 60794 ; ED-J-16.00-01 Fibres: ITU-T G652 D. CONSTRUCTION  Central reinforcing element: Dielectric fibreglass (FRP).  Loose tubes: PBT loose tubes filled with thixotropic compound. Colour coding of tubes and fibres according to tables 1 and 2.  Core formation: Loose tubes stranded in SZ. Sweallable yarns and tapes to avoid water penetration and make the cable waterproof.  Armouring: Dielectric rod 1mm fibreglass (FRP), which provides protection against rodents.  Outer jacket: Green LSZH, UV resistant polyethylene.  Sheath marking : The cable sheath will be marked with white ink at regular intervals with the following information : o CABLESCOM / year / Number of fibres MN/ PSP / batch number +length markings o Other sheath marks available upon request
