Product Description — Performance & Use
Steel Covers resist impact from high-temperature chips and heavy iron swarf, blocking dust, coolant and oil to prevent guideway corrosion and jamming. They maintain machining accuracy in harsh conditions and are easy to maintain. Operating range is −30 °C to 70 °C, with instantaneous surface resistance up to 600 °C and maximum travel speed up to 90 m/min. Sheet options: carbon steel or stainless steel (1.5–3 mm).

Design guidance: damping recommended below 15 m/min; no-damping configuration common from 15–30 m/min; articulated link chain recommended above 30 m/min. Roller supports and brass wipers become appropriate above medium speeds. Watertight/drainage grooves and low moving-load designs apply across speed ranges.
