Pressure-reducing valve 90-01/690-01 series

Despite having varied flow levels and inlet pressure rates, Cla-Val's 90-01/690-01 Pressure Reducing Valve automatically minimizes a high inlet pressure to a reduced stable downstream pressure. This high-precision, pilot-driven regulator possesses a fixed downstream pressure limit. This means that whenever downstream pressure levels pass the pilot's pressure setting, both the primary and pilot valve shut tight. Cla-Val Pressure Reducing Valves automatically reduce higher inlet pressure to a steady lower downstream pressure, regardless of changing flow rate and/or varying inlet pressure. Each valve is an accurate, pilot-operated regulator capable of holding downstream pressure to a pre-determined limit. When downstream pressure exceeds the pressure setting of the control pilot, the main valve and pilot valve close drip-tight. Model 90-01 is the full port version, while Model 690-01 is the reduced port version of Cla-Val’s iconic Pressure Reducing Valve. If a check feature is added, and a pressure reversal occurs, the downstream pressure is dmitted into the main valve cover chamber, closing the valve to prevent return flow.
