Product descriptionBenchtop pneumatic capper for controlled torque tightening of twist-off and plastic screw caps. Stainless steel base. Manual height adjustment of the capping head via handwheel and counter providing a reference based on container height. Standard maximum container height 350 mm; customizable options available. Vertical pressure and torque are adjustable. Adjustable container locking via a pneumatic piston. Mechanical neck-gripping system for low-density plastic bottles. Custom PVC centering/positioning devices can be manufactured for capping small bottles.
OperationThe operator sets the machine according to container and cap size, places the cap in the spindle or on the jar/bottle mouth, and presses the two side buttons simultaneously to close the cap. Torque is constant and repeatable once set.
Air supply and pneumatic systemMachine is pneumatic and requires a compressor. Recommended: 2 HP, tank ≥ 80 L, air flow ≥ 300 Nl/min. Oil-less system recommended; pneumatic components are designed to run dry and require no lubrication. Torque is adjusted by varying supply pressure. A pneumatic vane motor with stainless steel casing is available in different torque versions. A spring-loaded compensator softens the contact phase between cap and container regardless of capping head descent speed.
Format changeA dedicated spindle is required for each cap format. Solutions include a stainless steel or aluminum body; balls and spring for inserting the cap into the chuck; friction rubber or internal knurling to match cap shape. Magnetic chucks are available for twist-off metal caps sizes: 038, 43, 48, 53, 58, 63, 66, 70, 77, 82 (standard and deep).
