Product description
Benchtop pneumatic capper for controlled torque tightening of twist-off and plastic screw caps. Stainless steel base. Manual height adjustment of the capping head via handwheel and counter for repeatable setup. Standard maximum container height 350 mm; customization available. Vertical contact pressure and tightening torque adjustable to application requirements. Adjustable container locking via pneumatic piston. Mechanical neck-grip for low-density plastic bottles; custom PVC centering devices available for small bottles.

Operation
Operator sets machine for container and cap dimensions, places cap into the spindle or on the container mouth, then presses the two side buttons on the base simultaneously to close the cap. Settings provide repeatable torque and position for consistent closures.

Air supply and motor
Machine is fully pneumatic and requires a compressor. Recommended compressor: 2 HP, tank ≥ 80 liters, air flow ≥ 300 Nl/min; oil-less (oil-free) system suggested. Pneumatic components are designed to run dry. A pneumatic vane motor in stainless steel housing is available in multiple torque versions. Torque is set by air supply pressure and remains constant and repeatable once adjusted. A spring-loaded compensator cushions the contact phase between cap and container.

Format change
A dedicated spindle (starting head) is required for each cap format. Available spindle options: stainless steel or aluminum body; balls and spring for cap insertion into the chuck; friction rubber or internal knurling to match cap profile. Magnetic chucks available for common metal twist-off caps:
