Description

The GEO 602 GT is the smallest model in the Comacchio dual-head drilling range, designed to provide excellent manoeuvrability in confined job sites. Developed mainly for residential geothermal applications, the GEO 602 GT is particularly well suited for shallow ground source heat pump installations in tight-access environments such as private gardens, urban backyards and restricted suburban sites. Its compact dimensions and agile crawler configuration allow for easy positioning and movement, even in areas with limited working space or access constraints. Despite its compact footprint, the GEO 602 GT provides high hydraulic power and structural capacity to operate in double drill string configuration , ensuring reliable performance in casing advancement and inner rod drilling during geothermal borehole installation. For improved on-site efficiency and safety, the GEO 602 GT can be equipped with a magnetic rod and casing manipulator, facilitating the handling of drilling strings and reducing manual lifting operations. The rig can also be supplied with a radio remote control system, allowing operators to manage key drilling and manoeuvring functions from a safe distance, particularly beneficial in confined residential work sites.
