Discharging and Metering Valve for Powders Coperion's ZRD Rotary Valve is engineered for versatility and efficiency across various industrial applications. Its unique geometry allows for optimal material flow. The valve features a premium sealing system with double shaft seals and a labyrinth ring for effective gas purging, ensuring maximum reliability. Additionally, it includes outboard bearings and a separate drop-out opening for easy detection of gasket failures. With customizable rotor options which includes A 10-chamber open-end D-Rotor for powders An X-Rotor for fibrous materials A C-Rotor for abrasive products the ZRD Rotary Valve is the perfect solution for your processing challenges. • Large inlet for high capacities • With discharge adapter/feeding shoe also suitable for feeding bulk materials into pneumatic conveying systems at up to 1.5 barg (21 psi) • Operation possible without leakage gas venting - Pressure range 1.5 barg (21 psi) system and differential pressure - Pressure surge proof 10 barg (145 psi), due to heavy duty design (ZPD 5 barg) - ATEX (optional) Usable in EX-Zones and as protection system (flameproof for dust ST2) - Large inlet / outlet Without restriction of the cross section for highest capacities - Outboard bearings Separated from product by purged seal arrangement and drop out opening
