The CF-Regen steam-regenerable activated carbon filter is an industrial system for the abatement of gaseous emissions containing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), designed for applications involving low to medium solvent concentrations and medium to high air flow rates.
The technology combines the effectiveness of activated carbon adsorption with an automatic on-site regeneration cycle using steam generated from the heat of the VOC combustion fumes within a thermal recovery oxidizer, reducing the need to replace or regenerate the activated carbon externally and, consequently, resulting in significantly lower maintenance costs. It is a solution particularly well-suited when traditional technologies are costly, energy-intensive, or unsustainable from an economic and environmental standpoint.
The system is designed for emissions with typical VOC concentrations of approximately 0.5 g/Nm³ and for airflow rates ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 Nm³/h and higher, with modular configurations that can be adapted to customer requirements.
