Rotary Die Cutter (RDC): modular converting—die cutting, slitting, laminating and more Crest’s RDC is a modular converting platform you configure to your product. Choose Model 1 (up to 11 process units) or Model 2 (up to 17), and place each unit in the desired position. A timing-belt central drive and a sliding-rail control panel enable quick changeovers and consistent quality. The RDC handles plastic, paper, foam, rubber, foil and PSA adhesives, supporting through-cuts, kiss-cuts, guillotine/cross-cuts, punching, scoring and slitting—with servo-driven die units (optional) for precise register tasks. A digital length counter with programmable stop and an open machine construction speed up set-up and inspection. The result is repeatable output up to 70 m/min, scalable from pilot runs to high-volume production.
