Special ballhead mill like this of ours, here left pictured , are able to offer the roughing, in just one pass, of a spherical profile on cast iron by the factory of a spherical joint manufacturer. With these ballhead mill, the reduction of lead time is achieved, in addition to a more efficient machining cycle (which in itself leads to a further reduction of costs).
