Working Principle The W750-CPT-DCL201 is a professional online multi-parameter monitor for drinking water quality supervision, providing accurate measurement of free chlorine, total chlorine, turbidity, pH, and temperature. Free chlorine and total chlorine detection is based on the classic and highly reliable DPD colorimetric method. N,N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine (DPD) reacts with chlorine compounds in water to form a stable red-violet complex, which is measured by a high-sensitivity optical detection system and converted into precise concentration values according to the Lambert-Beer law. Turbidity is measured using laser scattering technology for fast and sensitive response to fine suspended particles. Integrated pH and temperature sensors enable real-time synchronous monitoring.
