The main body of the GCM-08888 stainless steel mount is made of 304 stainless steel. Compared with aluminum alloy materials, it has the advantages of a smaller thermal expansion coefficient and higher rigidity, thus offering better stability. Optics are installed from the front of the mount, making disassembly and installation more convenient. The double convex contact lines inside the mounting groove and the nylon-tipped set screws form a three-point contact installation. This design ensures precise positioning of the optics center, minimizing eccentricity or tilting that could disrupt the optical path. Equipped with two M6×0.25 fine-thread drives, it enables adjustment of pitch/yaw angles. The end of each fine-thread drive features a hexagon socket hole, which can be adjusted using a #2 hex key. On both sides of the mount base, there are countersunk holes with M4 and M6 threads, which are used to connect optical rods or M4 screws.
