Manipulator, column version, for gripping reels in their inside cores. Partner manipulator equipped with an expanding mandrel designed to enable the gripping in the inside core of the reel. The tooling head is designed to pick the reels horizontally positioned on a winding shaft and then place them on an adjacent pallet. A a pneumatic device allows a continuous rotation of the reel.
