Product descriptionThe DT1622 AC current transmitter converts the true effective value (TRMS) of the measured AC current into a proportional 4–20 mA signal for remote processing. It is a passive two-wire device powered by the 4–20 mA loop (12–33 VDC).
Three hardware versions cover six measuring ranges; within each version the range is selected using the front-panel Hi–Lo switch. The 5/1 AAC input version can be extended using an external current transformer with ratio x/5 or x/1. Inputs are isolated from the measured network via a wideband measuring transformer and meet CAT III requirements.
The device accepts permanent overcurrent up to 2× nominal and short-term up to 20× (1 s). For I5/I1 ranges the conductor is connected to screw terminals; for higher ranges the conductor is routed through the side feed-through. A green LED indicates operating status.
Designed as a compact 17.5 mm TS-35 rail-mounted module, the DT1622 is suitable for instrument cabinets and industrial automation panels. Full compliance with EN 60688 ensures interoperability in control systems.
