Product description
The DT1612 I AC current transmitters provide an analogue output proportional to the true RMS value of the measured AC current. The input is isolated from the measured network via a broadband measuring transformer and meets CAT III requirements. Measuring ranges are selected via front-panel switches:
  • 0–1 A (AC)
  • 0–5 A (AC)
  • 0–10 A (AC)
The continuous input overcurrent capability is 20 A and short-term (1 s) capability is 200 A. The input range can be extended using an external current transformer with a ratio of x/5 or x/1.

Two mutually exclusive outputs are provided; only one may be used at a time:
  • 0 (4)–20 mA DC current output
  • 0 (2)–10 V DC voltage output
The output range and type are selected by a front-panel switch. Typical accuracy is 0.2% within 40–400 Hz. Maximum settling time is 120 ms. Front-panel indicators show operational status and fault conditions. Inputs, outputs and supply are galvanically isolated in accordance with EN 61010-1. The device is supplied in a 22.5 mm TS-35 rail terminal housing and fully complies with EN 60688.
