Overview
The MULTI is a modular multi-spindle tightening system designed for confined stations and machine-mounted installations. It supports remote operation and traceability via the CONNECT platform and can control from 1 up to 40 spindles (synchronized or independent).

• M-SafetyBox: core safety management and CONNECT connectivity; 24 VDC output, Ethernet, eStop Cat.3 PL e, Quick Stop, fieldbus safety support (e.g. ProfiSafe)
• M-Drive: manages Desoutter EFM fixtured spindles; fanless cooling, frontal cable access, one-screw service access, tool hot-swap ~6 s
• EFM fixtured spindles: premium spindles delivering 1–2000 Nm for high precision and repeatability

Traceability & quality
MULTI uses the CONNECT platform for live result capture (torque, angle, curves), result transfer/storage and automated NOK action processes. Supported tightening strategies include torque, angle, curve analysis, seating and yield-point detection for complex assemblies.
