Product description The SCM is a single- or multi-stage horizontal side-channel pump in a hermetically sealed design with a heavy-duty permanent magnetic coupling. Suction and discharge flanges as well as casing bolts are designed to PN40. Containment shells are customized to the operating pressures and hermetically seal the conveyed medium to the outside. The axial suction flange and suction impeller provide low NPSH values. The SCM is suitable for safe, leak-free transfer of hazardous or aggressive liquids, including media with significant gas content. Side-channel pumps are more economical for relatively high pressures at low flow rates due to their high pressure coefficient compared to conventional centrifugal pumps.
