Description

Overview
The NCVLR is an inline single-stage volute casing pump in process construction to API 610 (type OH3) with opposite suction and discharge ports and an integrated support base. Axial thrust is compensated via relief bores; radial and split rings are fitted as standard on suction and discharge sides. Atmospheric sealing is provided by profiled metal-to-metal seals. The shaft is supported by a cylindrical roller bearing and a back-to-back pair of angular contact ball bearings. Replaceable bearing seals are fitted on both sides. The seal chamber accepts mechanical seals in accordance with API 682. The lantern and bearing support are arranged so that replacement of the mechanical seal or rolling bearings requires dismantling only the bearing support unit.
