Description

Summary
Reinforced, woven hydrophobic absorbent mat designed for removal of hydrocarbons from shorelines and water edges. Equipped with rope and handling handles.

Detailed description
Reinforced woven absorbent mat for water-surface remediation (hydrophobic). This mat is intended for removal of hydrocarbon contamination on riverbanks, shores and other littoral zones. Made of polypropylene fiber, double-layer construction, lint-free, reinforced with spunbond layer (25 g/m2). Fitted with a continuous double-stitched rope along its length and two handles at each end. Distinctive blue coating increases durability.

Usage
For collection of thin or thick hydrocarbon films using a sweeping motion. Can be rapidly deployed along riverbanks, shores or other water bodies for shoreline cleanup operations.
