Overview
- Used to secure and insulate electrical cables inside electrical equipment (distribution boards, junction boxes, enclosures), providing protection against dust, water and external factors.
- They maintain the cable securely in position, preventing mechanical stress or accidental pulling that could affect internal electrical connections.
- Within the specified clamping range the sealing and locking effect increases with cable diameter.
- Cable glands can be fitted to electrical equipment using an existing threaded hole or by means of mounting nuts.

- RoHS compliance: series produced after 22/07/2019 compliant with EU Directive 2015/863/UE (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
- Available metric thread sizes: M12 x 1.5, M16 x 1.5, M20 x 1.5, M25 x 1.5, M32 x 1.5, M40 x 1.5, M50 x 1.5, M63 x 1.5.
- Typical clamping ranges (examples across product variants): from 3 ÷ 6 mm up to 34 ÷ 44 mm (depends on thread/variant).
